Filters and breakdowns

Narrow your report and split results into meaningful segments.

Filters and breakdowns help you answer questions like “Cases opened by case type” or “Cases closed by assignee”.

Filters

Filters restrict which cases are included. Common filter types include:

  • Case type
  • Case status
  • Case flag
  • User — Assigned to
  • User — Created by
  • Currency / Number field
  • Dropdown field

Breakdowns

Breakdowns split the metric into groups. The available breakdown types mirror the filter types above (for example: breakdown by case type, status, flag, or assignee).

Operators

Some filters support operators like:

  • Equals / Not equals
  • Greater than / Less than (for numeric fields)
