Case type workflow

Configure stages and transitions for a case type.

Workflows define how a case moves between statuses, and can control what transitions are available from a given status.

Open the workflow editor

  1. Switch to the correct team
  2. Open Team Settings
  3. Select a case type
  4. Open the Workflow tab

How workflows affect users

  • The Case status dropdown on a case may only show valid next statuses (based on the workflow)
  • Some actions may stay Pending until the case reaches (or avoids) specific statuses
