Case types

Configure case type forms, settings, and workflows.

Case types control what fields are collected and how work flows through the system.

Where to find case types

  1. Switch to the correct team
  2. Open Team Settings
  3. In Case Types, pick a case type to configure

Case type configuration tabs

When you open a case type, you’ll see three areas:

  • Form Definition: design the case form (sections/fields)
  • Workflow: design the workflow that drives status transitions and automated steps
  • Settings: statuses, flags, file types, case list custom column mapping, and portal access defaults
