Data sets (autocomplete lists)

Create reusable option lists for autocomplete fields.

Data sets power autocomplete fields on case forms. They’re managed per team.

Create a data set

  1. Switch to the relevant team
  2. Open Team Settings
  3. In Data Sets, select Add Data Set
  4. Enter a name (for example “Root Causes”)
  5. Add options:
    • Add individual options, or
    • Upload a plain text file (.txt) with one option per line
  6. Select Save Data Set

Limits and notes

  • Data sets support up to 10,000 options
  • Upload files must be plain text and under 1MB
Warning

Deleting a data set can remove options from any autocomplete fields that rely on it.
