Manage actions on a case
Add actions, filter by due/open, and keep work moving.
The Actions tab on a case is where you manage tasks for that case.
Add an action
- Open a case and go to the Actions tab
- Select Add Action
- Provide:
- Title
- Description
- Assign to (defaults to you)
- Due date (cannot be in the past)
- Select Add Action
Filter actions
Use the scope dropdown:
- Actions due now: shows items due today or overdue
- Open actions: shows open actions
- All actions: shows everything (case view only)
Common actions you can take
Use the action menu to:
- Mark an action Open or Closed
- Assign to… another user (open actions only)
- Reschedule (open actions only)
