Manage actions on a case

Add actions, filter by due/open, and keep work moving.

The Actions tab on a case is where you manage tasks for that case.

Add an action

  1. Open a case and go to the Actions tab
  2. Select Add Action
  3. Provide:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Assign to (defaults to you)
    • Due date (cannot be in the past)
  4. Select Add Action

Filter actions

Use the scope dropdown:

  • Actions due now: shows items due today or overdue
  • Open actions: shows open actions
  • All actions: shows everything (case view only)

Common actions you can take

Use the action menu to:

  • Mark an action Open or Closed
  • Assign to… another user (open actions only)
  • Reschedule (open actions only)
