Add and manage parties on a case
Add individuals/companies and keep contact details up to date.
Parties are the people or organisations linked to a case. They also enable messaging and sharing.
Add a party
- Open a case and go to the Parties tab
- Select Add Party
- Choose a Type:
- Individual
- Company
- Enter the party details (name/company, email, phone, address)
- Select Add Party
Edit a party
- In the Parties tab, select Edit Party on the party card
- Update details and save
Invite a party to the portal (share code)
If portal access is enabled for your plan and case type, you’ll see Get Share Code on a party card (requires the party to have an email address).

Filter parties
Use the party filter dropdown to show:
- All parties
- Companies only
- Individuals only
